Oregon returned to its high-scoring ways from early in the season, scoring its most points (95) since a 119-112 loss at Arizona on Jan. 16. The Ducks also snapped a seven-game losing streak that began with a 104-60 loss to No. 2 Stanford on Feb. 18.

Oregon shot 52.2 percent (36-of-69) from the field and had four players score in double figures led by Micaela Cocks’ game-high tying 16 points and career-high seven assists.

Sophomore forward Amanda Johnson added the 10th double-double of her season with 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while fellow sophomore Jasmin Holliday scored a season-best 14 points on perfect 6-for-6 shooting while adding eight rebounds. Nicole Canepa added 13 points off the bench and sophomore point guard Nia Jackson score 12 to go along with four assists.

Oregon outscored Eastern Washington 56-28 in the paint and the Ducks’ bench outscored the Eagles 38-16.

Brianne Ryan scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Eastern Washington (19-12). Nicole Scott added 11 points, while Breauna Russell scored 10.

Oregon went into halftime with a healthy 48-26 lead, leaving fans craving and hopeful for a triple-digit outing.

The Ducks shot 60.0 percent in the first half, and after trailing 11-7 at the 16:52 mark, embarked on a 18-0 run as UO held Eastern Washington scoreless for eight minutes. EWU finally broke its scoreless streak as Ryan sank a free throw with 8:52 left until the break.

Jackson led the Ducks with 10 first-half points, while Cocks added nine and Johnson made her way to six rebounds. Every player who appeared in the first half scored for Oregon.

The Ducks will now host New Mexico (19-12) in the second round of the WNIT at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Mac Court. The Lobos defeated the Southern Methodist Mustangs, 66-51, in first-round of the WNIT on Wednesday night at the Pit.
