Scouting the Ducks
Tuesday, August 19, 11:30 a.m.
The Ducks have a single workout on Tuesday (2:05) before their final day of doubles on Wednesday. After today's workout, only 10 practices remain heading into the season opener on Aug. 30 against the Huskies.
The presence of NFL scouts on the sidelines at Oregon practices is nothing new, but they have been out in force during Fall Camp. The main player of interest appears to be senior center Max Unger, who has been drawing raves across the board, but one AFC team scout said that there are at least seven players that may worthy of NFL draft day consideration next spring. Unsolicited, he offered the following: "You've got a really good team here. They could be something special."

The Ducks may not be ranked among the top 10 in any of the preseason polls, but their stadium is. ESPN The Magazine did a recent piece on college football fans and ranked Autzen as the second loudest and third best overall stadium in the land.New to the blog?
