EUGENE, ORE -- On Saturday, April 7 the O Heroes teamed up with Warsaw Sports Marketing Center’s annual KIDSPORTS Invitational 3-on-3 Tournament held at Matthew Knight Arena.

Along with The Duck and the Oregon Cheer team, O Heroes from the Oregon men’s and women’s basketball teams and the UO women’s soccer team hosted a Q&A panel, signed O Heroes posters, and scrimmaged against the youth tournament participants.

“The best part was getting to interact with the kids,” said Oregon sophomore shooting guard Ariel Thomas, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen smiles as big as I did when the kids would hit shots against their favorite Oregon student-athletes.”

The KIDSPORTS Invitational is a non-profit youth basketball tournament held annually in Eugene to raise money for the Stephen Dember Scholarship Fund and the KIDSPORTS Emerald Scholarship Fund. For more information, visit www.kidsportsinvitational.com.
