PERSONAL Born Todd Lamar Doxey on March 4, 1989 in San Diego, Calif. Parents: Todd Sr. and Gladys Doxey. Family: Two brothers, one sister. High School (Coach): Hoover (Mike Wright) 2007. Major: Pre-Business Administration. Redshirt: 2007.

OREGON Possesses solid football instincts and could play his way into a significant role as a redshirt freshman. Benefits from great work habits and overcame any previous concerns regarding his size by adding 20 lbs. of muscle onto his frame within a year. Needs to gain a better grasp of the rover position, which will improve as he experiences more practice reps and understands the discipline it takes to be successful. But characterized as a finisher and a playmaker. Has displayed the traits of developing into something special as he breaks well on the ball and is an outstanding open-field tackler. Completed the Spring Game with two tackles.

2007
Redshirt year was highlighted by four consecutive scout team player of the week awards - three on special teams, one on defense - from Oct. 13 to Nov. 3, prepping the first team prior to four straight wins.

HIGH SCHOOL The four-star honoree (Rivals.com, Scout.com) was ranked among California’s top 35 prospects as well as the fifth-best defensive back. Possesses all the intangibles to become a tremendous standout in the secondary despite completing high school career as San Diego County’s all-time receiving leader. Accumulated 85 tackles and six interceptions (including two defensive touchdowns) in 2006 to garner votes on the Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Best in the West list. Also gathered 1,019 receiving yards, eight interceptions and 21 total TDs his senior year for the Western League tri-champions, who finished the year with a 9-3 ledger. Paced the Cardinals with 97 tackles, five interceptions and five forced fumbles his junior year. Characterized as the type of player who doesn’t shy away from contact and utilizes his instincts to swarm to the football.
