2010 SEASON (Junior)
Started a team-high 43 of the team’s 56 games at catcher, and three at designated player. At season’s end, tied for fourth on team in doubles (8), walks (12) and stolen bases (4). Shined at the plate against many of the nation’s top teams and ranked fifth on the team in hitting in Pac-10 play (.267, 12-for-45, 2 doubles, 1 HR, 6 RBI, 3 walks, 1 stolen base). Logged fifth-longest hitting streak of season for team (6 games). Hit safely in 19 of the last 41 games, and in that stretch led teams in doubles (8), and among regular starters ranked third in batting (.312). In the NCAA Regional, went 1-for-2 in the finale vs. No. 7 Georgia Tech with her first game-winning RBI of the season on an eighth inning sacrifice fly. In that game, she also drew a bases-loaded walk to score UO’s first run, then scored UO’s second run when she singled and scored on a triple by Allie Burger. Added a double in the NCAA Super Regional. Led team in batting in series at No. 5 UCLA (.625, 5-for-8, 1 homer, 3 RBI). Among other noteworthy series at the plate, hit .471 (8-for-17, 4 doubles, 4 RBI, 2 walks) in the 10-game spring break home stand and started seven games. Opened Pac-10 play with a .500 weekend at the plate at Oregon State (2-for-4, 1 run). Fielding-wise, logged a .987 fielding mark (348 putouts, 21 assists).

2009 SEASON (Sophomore)
Started 34 games - including 25 at catcher (a shared team high with Kaitlin Vitek) and played 42 total. Also started six games at third base in February and March, and two games in designated player slot in final three weeks of campaign. At season's end, ranked top-five on team in triples (second-tied, 1), stolen bases (fourth, 4), multi-RBI games (fourth, 3), RBI (fifth, 13), longest hitting streak (fifth, 4) and hit by pitches (second-tie, 3). Had team-season high three runs scored in second game of season vs. Wichita State in her first multi-hit effort of '09 (2-for-4, 1 double, 1 home run, 4 RBI). Also matched her RBI career high (4) three weeks later in 8-7 loss to No. 12 Missouri (2-for-4,1 walk) thanks to a three-run triple in the fifth inning and RBI single in the first inning. Went 2-for-4 the next day vs. another recent NCAA veteran, San Diego State (2-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base). In final home weekend of season, went 2-for-4 vs. No. 6 Arizona at home, including a 10th inning single up the middle that she beat out to set up the winning run by the next batter, Lindsey Chambers. Also singled in back-to-back, mid-April home games vs. Oregon State (1-for-2, 1-for-3) with win in former contest. Was perfect in her four steal attempts with thefts vs. San Diego State, Southern Utah and consecutive games vs. No. 2 Stanford and Oregon State. Defensively, threw out a team-high five opposing baserunners, and sported a .962 fielding mark overall (155 putouts, 22 assists, 7 errors).

2008 SEASON (Freshman)
Quickly proved herself as one of team’s top newcomers, and started 46 games, including a team-season high 37 games at catcher. At season’s end, ranked top five for Ducks in slugging (fifth, .351). Ranked second on team in Pac-10 action in doubles (2), home runs (2) and walks (6), and also ranked fourth in hits (8). Had season-high four-game streak in Pac-10 games at No. 1 UCLA and vs. Oregon State and No. 1 Arizona State. Went 5-for-12 in that stretch and also had two RBIs in the Beaver game in her 2-2 effort at the plate (and included a home run and triple). Also stroked home run over left field wall to break up no-hitter vs. No. 24 Washington in pinch hit appearance in early May. In 1-0 postseason win over Tulsa, reached based three times (1 hits, 2 walks). Among her four multi-hit games, she went 2-for-3 vs. Pacific with season-high 3 RBI and a stolen base, and 2-for-3 vs. Cal Poly (with team season high 2 doubles, 2 RBI) in her third collegiate game. Her season high in hits came in 3-3 afternoon (with double) vs. Portland State. Hit first career home run vs. Kansas in second collegiate tournament. Fielding-wise, threw out seven of the 42 base runners who tried to steal, and ended with a .962 mark (183 chances, 21 assists, eight errors).

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a first-team all-league selection in 2007 and four-year letterwinner, and was coached by her dad, David Kivett. In seasons prior was a second-team All-Citrus Belt League and honorable mention CIF honoree. Lettered one year in volleyball as an outside hitter. Also played point guard in basketball. Played club softball for the Sudden Impact 18U gold team and was coached by Skip Matulik. Off the field, was honored to the “Who’s Who” rolls, and was an honor roll and scholar athlete selection. PERSONAL
Journalism / Electronic Media major. Twin sister Cortney is a Duck senior and led the Pac-10 steals in 2008 (33). Parents are David and Kim Kivett, and has one brother, Kyle, and one other sister, Krista.
