EUGENE, Ore. ó The Oregon men’s basketball team established a school record for consecutive weeks in the Associated Press poll with this week’s No. 19 ranking.

Dating back to last season, the Ducks have now been ranked for 19 consecutive A.P. polls.

During their current stretch, the Ducks first appeared in the top-25 at No. 22 on Dec. 11, 2006. In the 19 weeks, Oregon has been ranked as high as No. 7 (Jan. 22), and as low as No. 23 (Feb. 19).

The current streak surpassed the previous mark of 18 weeks, set during the final six weeks of the 2001-02 season and the first 12 weeks of the 2002-03 season.

Oregon, 6-1 after defeating No. 25 Kansas State 80-77 in overtime last Wednesday in Manhattan, Kan., hosts Utah Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Rose Garden in the 10th annual Pape’ Jam.
