Ducks Hit the Midpoint
Friday, August 15, 4:00 p.m.

With kickoff against the Washington Huskies scheduled for two weeks from tomorrow, the Ducks are at the midpoint of Fall Camp in terms of total practices. Oregon will embark on practice No. 15 of 29 at 5 p.m. tonight.

Saturday's single session, slated for 12:45 p.m. in Autzen Stadium, will feature the team's most extensive scrimmage to date. Coach Bellotti expects the Ducks to run between 60 and 75 plays and conduct live special teams drills in what will be the final scrimmage open to the public during this year's Fall Camp.

Oregon will honor late defensive back Todd Doxey with a helmet sticker for the 2008 season. The design will incorporate his number (29) and initials (TD). The team will also keep his locker intact with his picture prominently displayed at the front of it. The Ducks are also planning to have his jersey worn by a different player each week throughout the season.

The above illustration is a prototype of the helmet sticker to be worn by the Ducks this season.
