Report Day
Thursday, August 6, 10:00 a.m. PT

Oregon football veterans report back to campus today and will participate in a team meeting with newcomers tonight ahead of Friday's opening practice of preseason camp. All members of the two-deep, with the exception of freshman punter Jackson Rice, participated in conditioning drills and voluntary workouts in Eugene over the past two months, making today's date more of a formality than anything else.

THE 105
Football Bowl Subdivision teams are again limited to a 105-man roster during fall camp. Oregon's "105" will be announced tomorrow prior to Oregon's annual media day. The Ducks will expand their roster in September, following the season opener at Boise State, at which time some returning players not among the 105 will rejoin the squad.

NEWCOMERS AWAITING NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE CERTIFICATION
As of today, all but three of Oregon's incoming recruits have arrived on campus. Defensive lineman Justin Brown (Compton, CA/Compton), defensive back Cliff Harris (Fresno, CA/Edison) and receiver Diante Jackson (Walnut Creek, CA/Las Lomas) are wrapping up summer classes/testing and awaiting academic clearance from the NCAA Clearinghouse before joining the Ducks.
