The Matthew Knight Arena Display Center is up and running in the Casanova Center. On the top floor in the Hall of Champions, a section has been devoted to 3D renderings and images of Matthew Knight Arena’s seating bowl and other areas of the new facility.

A section of the new arena’s hardwood floor has been laid down, with samples of the new arena’s seats placed adjacently. Fans can sit in the actual seats from their seating location and view renders that show the angle from any of the arena’s four primary sections. Future facility projects are also profiled in the display center.

Here is what the Oregon coaches, who will compete in the new facility, have to say about the display center.

Ernie Kent – Head Coach, Men’s Basketball
“The display center is great for people wanting to get a complete, thorough understanding of the new arena and what is going to look like. This new display center that has been put together will give people a very good sense of what it feels like to be in this new building, the Matthew Knight Arena. And more importantly, I think fans will be pleasantly surprised at the seating available to them. Every seat is a great seat, and the pricing of those seats is affordable to a lot of people.”

Jim Moore – Head Coach, Volleyball
“It’s nice to have this display center to show people what the finished product will be like as we wait for the building to be completed. Anything Oregon Athletics has done, facilities wise, has been nothing but first class. The display center will also help tremendously once recruits get a chance to see it in person.”

Felecia Mulkey – Head Coach, Team Stunts and Gymnastics

“As we build this program from the ground up, it is imperative to have a place to show our current student-athletes and our recruits where they will be competing in a year. The facility is going to be first class all the way. It’s a real advantage to have this display area right here in the Casanova Center.”

Paul Westhead – Head Coach, Women’s Basketball
“It’s almost like the new arena has come to us over here at the Casanova Center. They’ve done a great job with the display. It helps to build excitement and anticipation for the real thing. You can actually sit in the seats from the different sections. We’re going to have some recruits coming to town in the next couple of weeks. They will have an in depth look at where our team is going to play in a year.”
