AS A SOPHOMORE | 2012
In 2011 used his redshirt after suffering a knee injury just before the start of the season...did not play during the 2012 season.

SUMMER 2011
Helped the Bend Elks (29-25) reach the West Coast League playoffs before the Elks lost in three games to Corvallis in the West Division finals…the Elks won the first game of the series, 3-1, thanks to Wagner’s two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the third…in 29 games, Wagner hit .260 with 20 hits, four doubles, four RBIs and five runs scored.
