Paula Patterson
Position: Hall of Fame Inductee
Other Position: Inductee, Golf (1994-1998)

Consistency was the key to her success as she was cited by her coaches as the best player in the history of the Oregon program at the time of her collegiate tenure. Her game confirmed those tributes as she became the women’s golf team’s initial first-team All-American who was the program’s first three-time NCAA Championships participant. Patterson concluded her collegiate career tied for 12th in the country in 1998 after making history as the Ducks’ only first-team Pac-10 all-conference choice her junior year. The two-time team MVP finished 10th or better in all 11 tournaments she played as a junior, which led to her finishing seventh at the NCAA level in 1997. The Washington native enjoyed a single-season best collegiate average of 75.7 as a junior while tying for fifth at the NCAA West Regionals, firing a school-record round 68. A two-time finalist as the state’s top amateur athlete, the two-time Oregon Golf Association amateur champion concluded her collegiate stay sporting a career average of 76.6 while competing in the nation’s most competitive conference among women’s collegiate golf circles.
