Hey Duck Fans! Well, softball had a great first weekend in PAC-10 play! We won the series against the OSU Beavers, winning two out of three games. The first game of the series we had 19 hits against the Beavs, winning the game 8 to 3. After getting rained out on Friday, we played two games on Saturday, losing the first game 6 to 7 after a tough battle in the 7th inning. Despite more rain delays we won the second game on Saturday 6 to 5, after our freshman left fielder, Allie Burger hit her first collegiate home run in the top of the 7th inning to put us in the lead. Overall, it was a well played series. This week we have practice to prepare for our first PAC-10 home series against the California Bears. Can’t wait to see you out there, and GO DUCKS!
