2014 — Oregon's leading tackler (95) and second-team all-conference choice paced his team in stops in six of his 15 appearances, including a collegiate-best 12 tackles in the win over Stanford . . . Also tallied 11 stops against UCLA and California in which 10 of them were unassisted vs. the Bruins . . . Voted the Ducks’ most outstanding defender by his teammates, he also was credited with double-digit takedowns at Washington State . . . Ranking 21st in the Pac-12 in tackles per game (6.4 avg.), he led the league with seven interceptions (t3rd nationally) for 110 return yards for a team that ranked third in the country in turnovers gained (34) . . .  Included was equaling his single-game high with two of his interceptions against Wyoming . . . Returned another pick 36 yards against Michigan State and ran 15 yards following his theft vs. Washington . . . Two of his interceptions occurred in the red zone against Stanford and Wyoming . . . Finished tied for third on the team in special teams tackles with eight . . . Broke up three of his four passes in the first two weeks of the season, including a pair of deflections vs. the Cavaliers . . . Added a forced fumble against Washington State . . . 2012 — Consistency became the model for his success as he paced team in tackles on only one occasion (five vs. Tennessee Tech) . . . Yet took advantage of his opportunities when injuries created an avenue to break into the starting lineup, opening the final three games at free safety . . . Thrived on special teams and in a supporting role to post fewer than three tackles on only two occasions, but met the challenge when the spotlight turned on in the post-season … Credited with a personal-best eight tackles (seven unassisted) in the Fiesta Bowl win over Kansas State in addition to a pair of interceptions (returns totaling 33 yards) . . . Picked off passes in final three appearances after claiming first career interception earlier in the year at Arizona State . . . Also added pair of fumble recoveries . . .
