One of four upperclassman returnees for Ducks in 2012-13, and career-wise has played eight collegiate events and 25 rounds his first two seasons (including four under-par rounds and three more at par). Logged his best tournament score (an even-par 216) in the 2011 Oregon Duck Invitational as a frosh. His best round was a two-under 69 in the 2012 Bandon Dunes Championships and a pair of two-under 70's in the 2011 Amer Ari Invitational and 2011 Bandon Dunes Championship. Was one of three underclassmen that played regularly in the spring of the 2011-12 season, and helped the team tie for the Pac-12 Championships lead at the end of regulation, and place second in the Ann Arbor NCAA Regional. His 75.3 sophomore scoring average ranks fourth-best among returnees from the 2011-12 campaign. Career-wise, owns a 75.2 scoring average (25 rounds, 1,879 strokes).
2011-12: Played four spring events for the Ducks and placed top 35 in three of them – the Aggie Invitational (20th, 77-79-72-228 (+12)), Bandon Dunes Championship (30th-tie, 79-75-69-223 (+12)) and Oregon Duck Invitational (32nd-tie, 73-76-74-223 (+7)). Posted three rounds of par or better on the season (including a career-best-tying two-under 69)) in the Bandon event. Carded another round at one-over in the second round of his Pac-12 Championships debut (59th-t, 78-72-78-77-305 (+17)). His season scoring average (75.3) ranked seventh-best on the NCAA Championships third-place squad that featured four seniors and five individuals ranked top 250 nationally individually.
The team's top freshman addition logged thee under-par rounds and another at par among his four tournaments (and 12 rounds overall). Finished in a tie for 16th place in The Oregon Duck Invitational with an even-par tournament score and career best (72-71-73-216), and helped the Ducks to a second-place team finish in his first team appearance. Earlier in the month, placed 24th overall as an individual at the Bandon Dunes Championship (70-74-80-224 (+8)). Made collegiate debut at the Amer Ari Invitational as an individual entrant and shot 12-over 228 (79-70-79 (+12)). In his other appearance, capped the spring slate in the OGIO Santa Barabara Invitational (52nd, 75-73-84-232 (+16)). Capped season with a 75.0 scoring average (12 rounds, 900 strokes).
Before Oregon: Was tabbed a Rolex Junior All-America honorable mention pick by the American Junior Golf Association. Concluded the fall of 2009 ranked 29th in the Polo Golf national junior rankings and 13th in his class after he staked four, top-10 national junior golf competition finishes. Won the San Diego U.S. Amateur Qualifier by eight strokes, shooting rounds of 62 and 69, in addition to finishing second at the American Junior Golf Association's Heather Farr Classic in the spring of '09. Also placed sixth in the Western Junior Championships and tied for ninth in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championships.
