Appeared in 39 games making 37 starts, playing mainly in left field while batting mostly in the third spot of the lineup…missed 18 games from Feb. 27-March 27 with a broken hand, returning to the lineup on April 1 at No. 5 Arizona State…batted .254 (32-for-126) on the season, and drove in 15 runs…scored 10 runs and added seven doubles, one triple, and one home run…was issued 22 walks…drove in the game-winning run on two occasions…went on a seven-game hitting streak from April 13-21, as the Ducks went 5-2 during that stretch and Sabol led the Ducks with a .440 average, driving in six runs…season highlights; laced a double in the first at-bat of his collegiate career at Hawai’i (02/19)…in a 4-3 victory at Hawai’i to end the series tied 2-2, was walked twice, tripled and scored (02/21)…helped UO overcome an early two-run deficit with a 2-for-3 performance, scoring two runs, driving in a run and recording a double in a 6-4 win at Portland (04/13)…at USC helped UO open the series with a 4-2 win, launching a one-out solo home run to left in the eighth (04/15)…in a 4-0 shutout of San Francisco, hit 2-for-4 with a RBI double and RBI single (04/18)…in a 14-3 win over Portland, batted 2-for-3 with a RBI double and two runs scored…drove in two runs in Oregon’s 7-3 victory over No. 23 Arizona which clinched the series (04/23)…recorded a RBI double in a 7-2 victory to clinch the season series over Portland (05/24)…hit a RBI single in 4-1 win over No. 6 Oregon State (05/28).

Was drafted in the 17th round (524 overall) by the Atlanta Braves.

A 2010 graduate of Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, Calif…as a senior in 2010, was named to the CIF Southern Section Division I Second Team… was co-MVP of the South Coast League along with fellow UO freshman Aaron Jones, after leading the Wolverines to the SCL title with a conference record of 10-5…led the SCL in home runs (10) and stolen bases (16)…batted .391 on the season with 39 runs scored, 24 RBIs, 11 doubles and one triple…slugging percentage of .859 ranked second in the league and .521 on-base percentage ranked third… was ranked by as the 15th prospect in 2010 Rivals High Top 100 Baseball Prospect Ranking…entering his senior year was the 8th-ranked recruit in the state of California (No. 25 in the nation) according to PerfectGame Crosschecker... was one of just 40 high school players invited to the Aflac All-American game at PETCO Park on Aug. 16, 2009, playing for the West team...also played for the Milwaukee Brewers Blue Area Code team along with fellow UO teammate Tyler a junior in 2009 hit .350 with 25 runs scored, 14 RBIs, six home runs, three doubles, 10 stolen bases, a .485 on-base percentage and .638 slugging percentage.
