AS A SOPHOMORE | 2012
Starting left fielder ... Led the Ducks in batting (.313), doubles (14) and outfield assists (3) ... Batted .346 in the postseason and drove in five runs ... Was named to the Eugene All-Regional team after batting .385, and driving in four runs ... The week of May 8-14 hit .400 and drove in a team-leading three runs ... Recorded 18 multiple-hit games, and ended the season on an eight-game hitting streak ... Hit the first home run of his career at Arizona ... Batted .444 in the Cal series, and tied an UO single-game record with three doubles in a 3-2 victory over the Bears ... Was named Pac-12 Player of the Week after batting .636 (7-for-11) in the UCLA series with two doubles, three runs scored, two RBI and two stolen bases ... Led off the bottom of the ninth vs. Long Beach State with a triple, putting the game-winning run at third with no outs as Oregon edged LBSU, 8-7, for the series sweep.

Played in 43 games and started 31, mainly patrolling center field and batting in the second spot of the lineup … Hit .291 (30-for-103) on the season, and improved that clip to .313 (21-for-67) in Pac-10 play … Drove in 10 runs, scored 14 runs with five doubles and one triple … Walked 15 times and finished second on the club with a .402 on-base percentage … Second on the team hitting .310 with runners in scoring position ... Recorded six-multiple hit games and drove in eight two-out RBI … Was responsible for driving in the game-winning run on two occasions … In the final 14 games of the season, batted .343 (12-for-35) with six RBI, five runs scored, two doubles, one triple and a .410 on-base percentage … Batted 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a double in a 9-0 shutout of Washington … Went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Oregon’s 4-2 victory over No. 23 Arizona … Had a 3-for-4 effort with two runs scored in a 10-5 victory over Seattle … With runners on the corners and two outs, drove in the game-winning run with a single up the middle as UO clinched the Stanford series with a 6-5 victory … In the game against the Cardinal batted 2-for-4 with a two-out, two-run double in the fourth … Had a 2-for-4 outing with a run scored and RBI double in 6-3 win at Washington State.
