On Saturday afternoon in Track Town, USA, Oregon senior Mandy White had a career day in front of 7,200 fans at Hayward Field.
White was one of four runners in the 4x100 meter relay that won in 43.82, which is officially the second fastest relay team in school history. The Ducks beat Florida State's 27-year old meet record of 44.73, and their time is the 8th fastest in the nation this season.
Shortly thereafter, White competed in the 100 meters where she won with a meet-record time of 11.60. This was a seasonal best for her, and broke the 1994 time of 11.62 set by Joyce Rainwater of Eastern Washington University.
With the Pac-10 Conference Championships right around the corner, look for White to be a major contributor for the Ducks.
