A 2011 graduate of Carson High School in Carson, Calif…played four years at center for head coach Marcel Sanders…won back-to-back City Section Division I titles defeating rival Narbonne HS in 2010 and 2011…in the championship game her senior year, recorded a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds in the 64-55 upset of top-seeded Narbonne…reached the championship game after scoring 15 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and adding four blocks in a 65-52 semifinal victory over Fairfax HS…as a senior averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game…also led the Marine League with 2.6 blocks per game…the Colts finished the season with a 19-11 overall record and second-place finish with a 9-3 mark in Marine League play…was named to the Cal-Hi Sports All-State Division I team…was chosen as one of 22 players to participate in the fourth annual All-American Prep basketball game in April of 2011…entering her senior season was the 31st-ranked post in the 2011 class, according to ESPN HoopGurlz…in 2010 claimed the City Section Division I championship in a 53-47 come-from-behind overtime victory over Narbonne HS, scoring 13 points while adding 10 rebounds, three blocks, three steals and two assists…the Colts finished 2010 with a record of 22-9 and a No. 1 ranking in the Los Angeles City Section…in 2010 was named to the Los Angeles All-City first team after helping Carson to a second place finish in the Marine League with a 10-2 record…a three-star recruit, averaged 14.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game while leading the Marine League with 2.7 blocks per game as a junior.
