Senior wide receiver Lavasier Tunei came up huge with four receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the Ducks' 43-28 victory over Washington State last Saturday.
Tunei extended Oregon's lead to 15-3 in the first quarter by hauling in a 55-yard touchdown reception after an incredible Darron Thomas scramble. Tunei again extended Oregon's lead in the second half, after capping off a 77-yard drive with a 19-yard touchdown reception. The score pushed Oregon's lead to 29-13, which would prove to be too much for the Cougars to overcome.
The win extended Oregon's streak of 21 straight wins at Autzen Stadium, and 17 straight wins in Pac-12 conference play.
On the season, Tunei has caught a total of 24 passes for 334 yards and 7 touchdowns. Look for Lavasier and the rest of the Oregon Football team to build off their win as they visit rival Washington this weekend.
