EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon men's tennis team returns home to host the PNW Intercollegiates at the Student Tennis Center in Eugene, Ore. November 4-6.   Coming off of the Northwest ITA Regionals, the PNW marks the last tournament for the Ducks' fall season as well as the first they have hosted this year.  For three days the Student Tennis Center will house seven teams with singles and doubles play in two different flights, Green and Yellow.  All 10 Oregon men will see action in both singles and doubles headlined by No. 2 overall seed Alex Rovello, No. 4 overall seed Robin Cambier and No. 7 overall seed Jeff Mullen.

Sophomore Alex Rovello looks to continue his strong fall season in singles play in the Green flight.  Receiving a first-round bye, Rovello will match up with the winner of Mitch Somach (PSU) and Alan Shin (UI).  In doubles, the Portland, Ore. native will team with senior Jose Izquierdo and take on the University of Idaho's Knox/Fichtel.  Izquierdo, also competing in Green flight singles will draw Portland State's Nick Fracchia.

Oregon's Robin Cambier will also receive a first-round bye in the Green flight singles before drawing the winner of Jose Bendeck (UI) and Victor Ouvrard (UNR).  The Brussels, Belgium native will be paired with Boise State transfer Jeff Mullen in Green flight doubles.  The Oregon duo are the No. 1 overall seed and will receive a first-round bye before matching up against the winner of Margoulis/Somach (PSU) and Bots/Kamisar (UW).  Mullen will take on Quentin Mege (UNR) in the first-round of Green flight singles play on Friday (Nov. 4).

The only Oregon freshman in the Green flight singles is Sopron, Hungary native Daniel Sardu.  Sardu will start his tournament matched against Roman Margoulis (PSU).  Sardu will also be playing in Green flight doubles as he pairs with Oregon junior Aaron Clissold.  The Oregon tandem will face Lubeck/Fracchia of Portland State in the opening round of competition.  Seeded No. 1 overall, Clissold helps lead the Ducks into Yellow flight singles play where he will await the winner of Chart (PSU) and Lynch (SU).

Also receiving a bye in Yellow flight singles will be Oregon senior Sho Higuchi.  Higuchi will be matched against the winner of Rozenfeld (UNR) and Marx (PSU) in the second round of action.  In doubles, the Tokyo, Japan native will play alongside fellow senior Douglas Mayeda.  The No. 1 overall seeded doubles team will await the winner of Mishra/Marx (PSU) and Kanehira/Malagutti (SU).   Mayeda, competing in Yellow flight singles play, will be paired against Zachary Williams of Seattle University.

Rounding out the Oregon men's roster are freshman Sam Bush and Michael Schaeffer.  Bush will take on Yusuke Kanehira (SU) in the first round of Yellow flight singles.  Schaeffer will be matched against Philip Hinojosa (UNR).  In doubles action, Bush and Schaeffer will team up to face the winner of Rozenfeld/Hinojosa (UNR) and Chart/Sullivan (PSU) after receiving a first-round bye.
