The Ducks are home for the rest of the regular season, starting with tonight's clash against No. 18 USC. Autzen Stadium provides one of the best home field advantages in all of college football, but to see whether or not Oregon can expect to utilize the local weather to its advantage, we turn to Oregon AMS Vice President Bobby Corser with the official Duckcast:
Saturday, Nov. 19, 11:30 a.m. PT
"The Oregon Ducks return home with the lead in the Pac-12 North and welcome in the USC Trojans. The boys from L.A. are used to sunny weather, temperatures in the 70s, and no rain. If this was a September game, I'd say they wouldn't have to worry about weather. Unfortunately for them, it's November and it's downright cold. Rain and snow showers, yes I said snow showers, will dot the Willamette Valley early on Saturday. Any snow that does manage to fall will not stick unless you're in the hills. Rain showers will be the call for the afternoon leading up to kickoff. Temperatures will struggle to hit 40. Weather models want to take away the chance for rain during the game, but I'm not as confident. For tailgating and the game, make sure to wear plenty of layers and dress warmly, it will be COLD. Wear black and cheer on Oregon. Go Ducks!"
