On Wednesday, January 18th, the University of Oregon celebrates its largest class of Academic All-Americans in the school's history. Jack Dukeminier (Golf), Jordan Hasay (Track & Field), Anne Kesselring (T&F), David Klech (T&F), Katherine Fischer (Volleyball), Amanda Johnson (Women's Basketball), and Carson York (Football) were all recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in both the classroom and on the field.

Through their efforts, this group has shown future Ducks and fans of all ages the importance of attaining an education in addition to athletic achievement.

This group has not only excelled in the classroom but in their respective sports as well. Dukeminier averaged 72.93 strokes per round of golf, and Fischer was second on the women's volleyball team in kills (308) and points per set (3.16). For track, Jordan Hasay was a 2-time NCAA Champion in the mile and the 3,000 meters. Kesserling won the 800m at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Klech was named 2nd Team All-America for the decathlon. Amanda Johnson led women's basketball in total points scored (477) and rebounds (248), and Carson York anchored an offensive-line that contributed to the Ducks' BCS Championship appearance and Rose Bowl victory. Look for this talented group of athletes to continue to make the University of Oregon proud as they strive for scholastic and athletic merit.
