Senior guard Garrett Sim exploded for a season-high 25 points in the Ducks' crucial win against Oregon State this weekend. His effort led all scorers gutted out a tough 74-73 win in Corvallis.
Sim also set season highs in shots made (10) and shots attempted (14), and was Oregon's best three-point shooter on the evening, going 4-7 from beyond the arc. Most notably however, was that Sim's scoring outburst eclipsed the 1,000 point scoring mark for his collegiate career, leaving him poised to break the top-30 all-time scoring list at the University of Oregon by season's end.
Look for Garrett and the rest of the Ducks to continue their strong play during the final weekend of the regular season, which concludes this week at Matthew Knight Arena against Colorado and Utah.
