Ducks Set to Bowl in Second Annual Charity Tournament

EUGENE -- University of Oregon players and coaches will participate in the second annual Oregon Football Bowling Tournament to benefit the Officer Kilcullen Scholarship Fund, in memory of Officer Chris Kilcullen, on Saturday, April 14, at noon.

The tournament, presented by O Heroes and hosted by Emerald Lanes, Track Town Pizza, Johnny Ocean's Grille, Hilton Eugene Hotel and Conference Center, and Inn at the 5th, will consist of 24 four-person teams, with each team receiving a fifth bowler in the form of an Oregon football player or coach. 

The cost per team is $400 with proceeds going to the scholarship fund which was set up following the fatal shooting that took Kilcullen's life during a vehicle pursuit in Springfield on April 22, 2011. Kilcullen was survied by his wife and two daughters.

Bowlers of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend what will be a family friendly event. To register a team, complete and submit the registration form. Orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
