OJAI, Calif. - The University of Oregon women's tennis team's run in the 2012 Pac-12 Championships in association with the 122nd Annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament came to an end with the defeat of their last two doubles teams.

For Oregon, junior Patricia Skowronski and freshman Sofia Hager battled into the third day of competition in the Championship Draw before falling to USC's No. 3 seeded Kaitlyn Christian and Sabrina Santamaria, 8-2, in the quarterfinal round.

In the Invitational Draw, junior Julia Metzger and senior Trudie du Toit's run came to a halt in the semifinals.  After moving past Arizona State's Leighann Sahagun and Nicole Smith due to injury withdrawal, Metzger and du Toit dropped their semifinal match in devastating fashion, 9-7, to Cal's Tayler Davis and Laura Posylkin.

The losses at doubles for the Ducks bring their 2012 Pac-12 Championships run to an end.  Oregon now awaits the word from the NCAA in hopes for an at-large bid to the team championships.
