EUGENE, Ore.- Fresh off their second NCATA National Championship, University of Oregon acrobatics and tumbling has announced the addition of two more athletes to their 2012-13 signing class.

Head coach Felecia Mulkey inked five in the early signing period and now adds Nicole Seybold and Sydney Walton.

Seybold and Walton join fall signees Shelby Armstrong, Colleen Curry, Paris Duhamel, Alexis McCallister and Chandler White and the rest of the 2012 NCATA National Champions on campus in the fall of 2012.

Nicole Seybold

5-7 ● Back Spot

Tampa, Fla./Freedom HS

High School/Club: A member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Key Service Club, Seybold has received five varsity letters in high school career; four in competitive cheer and one in track. Her high school competitive cheerleading program took the state title all four years of her tenure and she was selected for first team all-conference during senior year. Seybold comes to Oregon from a very successful all-star, nationally ranked program.

Mulkey on Seybold: "Nicole's physical strength will fit well into the structure of our program.  She is also a powerful tumbler. Nicole has the ability to make an impact as a freshman."

Sydney Walton

5-4 ● Base

Decatur, Ga./Southwest Dekalb HS

High School/Club: A base that can double as a second level flyer, Walton is a four- year honor roll student and is part of the Beta Club, French Club, National French Honors Society and Future Business Leaders of America. Walton holds the record for pole vault at Southwest Dekalb HS. Walton's high school competitive cheer team holds a regional title and her all-star program is nationally ranked.

Mulkey on Walton: "Sydney's versatility will make her an asset right away. Her upper body strength will lend itself to basing and second-level pyramid work, as well as explosive standing tumbling."
