EUGENE, Ore.- University of Oregon goalkeeper Caroline Federighi added to her career-best season by becoming lacrosse's first CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team honoree, as announced by the organization on Friday.

The sophomore earned her way onto the squad due to her 4.04 GPA, which was highest among those voted onto the team from District 8.

Federighi, who now owns Oregon's single-season records for save percentage and best goals against average, finished this season with a career-best 9.15 GAA and .502 save percentage. The Pleasanton, Calif. native also notched 141 saves in 913:55 minutes of action.

Federighi's excellent play in net allowed the Ducks to set a new program-high in victories with 14. Federighi collected all 14 of those victories while only suffering four setbacks.

In addition to being one of four Oregon players tabbed MPSF Player of the Week during the season, Federighi was named the MPSF Tournament Most Valuable Player and was also named first-team All-MPSF  en route to UO claiming the program's first MPSF regular-season and tournament title.

The Ducks ended the 2012 season at 14-5, including a flawless 7-0 conference mark, with a 10-9 loss to Navy at Pape' Field in the NCAA Play-In Game on May 5.
