WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Redshirt junior Joey Housey and sophomore Aaron Payne were named to the 2012 Pac-12 Conference Baseball All-Academic teams, it was announced by Commissioner Larry Scott on Wednesday. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

For Houesy this is his third Pac-12 academic award earning honorable mention recognition in 2010 and 2011. Payne is a first-time Pac-12 All-Academic selection. Sophomore Ryon Healy and senior Kevin Shepherd were each named honorable mention.
