2015 — Oregon's most experienced returnee completed the year as its sixth-leading tackler (56) with the second-most stops among the defensive secondary despite missing two games . . . Included were 2.5 tackles-for-losses, posting takedowns behind the line of scrimmage against Michigan State, Stanford, and Oregon State . . . Ended the year second on the team in passes broken up (10) . . . Notched four tackles (three solo) against Eastern Washington in the season opener before contributing what was then a season-high six stops (three unassisted) the following week at Michigan State . . . Contributed five stops vs. Georgia State in addition to a pass broken up for the second week in a row . . . Recorded collegiate-bests of 10 tackles twice within a three-week span in wins at Arizona State and Stanford.
2014 — The first-year starter opened all 15 games at free safety and finished with the third-most tackles (83) on the team . . . Included were eight of his stops covering kickoffs . . . Peaked towards the end of the year, posting a career-high nine takedowns in both the Rose Bowl against Florida State and in the National Championship against Ohio State . . . Closed the season with the squad's most solo tackles (62), including seven vs. the Buckeyes . . . Tied for the team lead in tackles against South Dakota (7), Florida State and Ohio State, and was the outright leader against Wyoming (8) . . . Had at least six tackles in nine of 15 games . . . Logged the most playing time in four games among the secondary (including 119 snaps at California) and equaled the most (103) in the CFP championship . . . Tied for second on the team with two fumble recoveries (vs. Utah and Florida State) in addition to forcing a loose ball in his starting debut against South Dakota . . . His nine pass breakups was good for second-most on the team to compliment his interception during the regular season against Arizona.
2013 — Came off the bench to post six tackles (3 unassisted) in 10 games, including a pair of stops at Virginia and vs. Washington State . . . Also broke up one pass during the win over Tennessee . . . Took part in a season-high 35 snaps in Charlottesville and 24 against the Cougars while making his greatest share of contributions the first half of the season . . . He was credited with three solo tackles in addition to breaking up a trio of passes in the 2014 Spring Game.
2012 — Worked with the scout team during redshirt campaign.
BEFORE OREGON — The three-year letterman tallied 90 total tackles, averaging 6.4 tackles per game, and recorded five interceptions, three QB sacks, six pass breakups and two fumble recoveries his senior year . . . Helped lead Huskies to a 13-1 record in 2011 as well as two Division I state titles in three seasons . . . Selected to Arizona Football Coaches Association Top 25 Team at defensive back and chosen to the Division I all-state first team on defense his final prep campaign . . . Recorded 46 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions and four pass breakups as a junior, earning all-region plaudits.
