2013-14: Outdoor – Was a Pac-12 and NCAA Preliminaries qualifier in the high jump…came in third in for the high jump (6-10.75/2.10m) and fifth in the 4x400 (3:15.51) at the Aztec Invitational…tied his personal record of 6-11 (2.11m) in the high jump at the Pepsi Dual, finishing second…took sixth at the Oregon Relays with a leap of 6-8 (2.03m)…was a runner up with a jump of 6-9.75 (2.08m) at the OSU High Performance Meet…added another runner up finish at the Oregon Twilight with a jump of 6-10.25 (2.06m)…came in 10th at the Pac-12 Championship with a mark of 6-9 (2.06m)...Indoor – Came in fourth at the UW Preview in the high jump (6-10.25/2.09m)…followed up with a third place finish at the Rod McCravy Memorial (6-10.25/2.09m)…finished fourth at the Don Kirby Elite meet (6-9.75/2.08m)…came in 10th at the MPSF Indoor Championships (6-9/2.06m)…Season Bests – Indoor – High Jump – 6-10.25/2.09m, Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational, Lexington, Ky., (1/25/14); Outdoor – High Jump – 6-11/2.11m, Pepsi Dual, (4/5/14).

2012-13: Outdoor – Set a personal best in the high jump at the Oregon Twilight, clearing 6-11/2.11m…competed in a total of eight outdoor meets…Indoor – Competed in four meets and finished 16th at the MPSF Championships in the high jump…Season Bests – high jump – 6-11/2.11m, Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore., (5/3/13).

Prep: Helped Summit High School win the 2012 Oregon 5A state title by claiming first in the high jump as a senior. Winning height was 6-10/2.08m. His final season at Summit, improved nearly a foot over his junior year best (6-0), and set five personal bests, including the clearance at 6-10. Was also a state qualifier in the 400 meters and ran the third leg on Summit's 4x400 meter relay team that placed third in the state in 2012. Also a key member of Summit's 2011 state championship team. In basketball, set five school records and was an all-conference selection. High School Bests: 800 Meters - 6-10/2.08m, 2012.

Personal: Major is pre-family and human services. Father Roger ran track and San Diego State, and uncle Mike played basketball at Saint Mary's.
