EUGENE, Ore. -- Basketball season tickets for Oregon's exciting 21-game 2012-13 home schedule at Matthew Knight Arena went on sale Friday at 9 a.m.

Lower pricing options for 2012-13 season tickets start at just $150, which averages out to less than $8 per game to see opponents like Arizona, Washington, California, Colorado, Vanderbilt, Nebraska and Nevada, not to mention the most-played rivalry in the history of college basketball, the Civil War.

"We are very pleased to be able to offer great value and multiple options for the upcoming season," said Director of Athletics Rob Mullens. "We understand that our fans have to make tough decisions in this economy. Our goal was to have a pricing option for everyone. The home schedule starts November 10 and we want our fans to be able to be there from day one to help build something special."

Two new pricing sections highlight the season ticket options for the upcoming year. The first is the $150 season ticket for sections 207 and 208 in the terrace level. These tickets are being offered at a price reduced 50 percent from a year ago, and there is no donation requirement or construction fees accompanying the purchase.

Approximately 1,000 of the $150 tickets are available for the 2012-13 season.

In the lower bowl, loge level sections 107 and 108 season tickets are available for $414, compared to $498 in 2011-12. These also no longer require a per seat donation and the construction fees have been slashed from $1,000 to $250, payable over a five year period, per seat.

"We play an entertaining style of basketball and have an exciting schedule among both our conference and non-conference opponents," said Mullens. "With pricing options to fit many budgets, we think that there is truly something for everyone this year at Matthew Knight Arena."

Another attractive factor about the schedule is that 10 of the 19 regular season games fall on a weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday).

Fans are encouraged to go online and purchase tickets at Fans may also purchase season tickets by phone (1-800-WEBFOOT), or in person at either the Athletic Ticket Office in the Moshofshy Center or the Matthew Knight Arena box office.

Season ticket holders will get priority access to Oregon's allotment of Pac-12 Tournament tickets. The 2013 Pac-12 Tournament will be hosted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., March 13-16 for the first time ever.
