EUGENE, Ore.- University of Oregon head women's tennis coach Paul Reber announced the Ducks' 2012-2013 schedule on Tuesday.
The Ducks host 15 matches this season, including six against Pac-12 opponents. Oregon will also host the Duck Invitational fall tournament on Oct. 19-21.
In addition to the Duck Invitational, UO will prepare for the 2013 season with six other fall tournaments in the ITA All-American, USAFA Invitational, ITA Regionals, University of Houston tournament, Freeman Memorial and John and Phil's Championship.
The spring regular season kicks off with a home match against Eastern Washington on Jan. 25th, followed by five more home matches against Gonzaga (Feb. 1st), Portland State (Feb. 1st), United States Air Force Academy (Feb. 3rd), Portland (Feb. 3rd) and UC Davis (Feb. 9th). The Ducks then hit the road for the first time in the regular season as they travel to Akron, Ohio to face Akron (Feb. 16th) and East Tennessee State (Feb. 17th).
After their weekend to trip to Ohio, the Ducks return to Eugene for another long home stand featuring matches against BYU (Mar. 8th), Denver (Mar. 10th) and the start of Pac-12 competition as Washington (Mar. 15th), Washington State (Mar. 17th), Arizona State (Mar. 22nd) and Arizona (Mar. 24th) visit Oregon.
UO then takes their talents on the road to face Colorado (Mar. 29th), Utah (Mar. 31st), University of San Francisco (Apr. 4th), California (Apr. 5th) and Stanford (Apr. 6th) before closing out the regular season against UCLA (Apr. 12th), USC (Apr. 14th) and Santa Clara (Apr. 21st) at home.
The Ducks will compete for a berth in the NCAA Tournament at the 2013 Pac-12 Championships, which will be held April 25- 28 in Ojai, Calif.
