EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon's version of college basketball’s traditional first day of practice, Matt Knight Madness, will take place following the Ducks’ 6 p.m. volleyball match against Washington State on Friday, Oct. 12, at Matthew Knight Arena.
The preseason event provides fans and students with the first glimpse of the 2012-13 men's and women’s programs in a fun, entertaining environment.
Festivities will include a t-shirt giveaway as well as raffles for custom Pit Crew Air Jordans and jackets, and autographed basketballs from both teams. All fans and students in attendance at the volleyball match will receive raffle tickets and are eligible to win prizes.
Student admission to volleyball is free with University ID, while general admission tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for kids 12 and under for the general public.
The first 100 students at the volleyball match will receive free mini pizzas and all students enrolled in the Oregon Rewards program will receive double points (500 instead of 250).
The volleyball match will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks and Matt Knight Madness will be streamed live on Pac-12 Digital.
