Played for the Klamath Falls Gems- West Coast League … Named to the West Coast League All-Star Team as a catcher after hitting .317 with one homerun, four RBI and a 1.00 ERA in five innings with a save and four strike outs.

A 2012 graduate of Roseburg high school in Roseburg, Ore. … Drafted in the 22nd round in the MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins … Earned three letters playing catcher and pitching for head coach Troy Thompson … Led team to a 24-3 record as a senior and a spot in The State Tournament Semifinals … Named 6A Southern Oregon Hybrid Player of the year for second consecutive year while also earning 6A State Pitcher of the Year honors, and 6A first-team All-State accolade as a catcher, while being voted team MVP for the second year in a row … Played in the Oregon All-Star Series in Corvallis for the South Team … Ranked No. 2 as a catcher and pitcher in the 2012 Baseball Northwest Oregon Prospect … Ranked sixth in The 2012 Baseball Northwest Super 60 High School Top Prospect list after batting .345, with four home runs, seven doubles, 39 RBI, 26 walks and a .519 on base percentage, while finishing with a 10-1 record on the mound, with a .96 ERA after pitching 65.1 innings, with 113 strikeouts, 11 walks, and a .60 WHIP … Led Indians to a 19-7 record including 13-3 in the 6A Southern Oregon standings for head coach Troy Thompson, advancing to the semifinals of the OSAA 6A Baseball State Championships before falling 4-1 to Central Catholic high school … As a sophomore was named second-team Class 6A all-state, and helped Roseburg to a South Western Conference title with a record of 24-1, while being named a first-team all-league as a pitcher after posting a .89 ERA with a 6-2 record and 53 strikeouts in 47 innings.

SUMMER 2011
Finished fourth in state with the Roseburg Doc Stewarts American Legion baseball team, and also participated on the 18U USA Tournament of Stars American Legion team in Cary, N.C.

SUMMER 2010
Played American Legion ball, winning the regional and state tournaments, before placing fourth in the American Legion World Series.
