The junior middle blocker and transfer will be a key addition in her first season for the Ducks in 2013. As a sophomore for Ohio University, ranked 36th nationally in blocks, hit .306, and was a two-time All-MAC Defensive Player of the Week. In fall of 2012, helped the Bobcats (21-10, 14-2) win the MAC East Division regular season title and advance to the conference tourney semifinals. In the classroom, also shined as a Dean's List selection and Academic All-MAC honorable mention. As a prep, was a four-time all-state pick (2007-10), 2010 Under Armor Watch List honoree, PrepVolleyball.com Top-100 Senior Ace honorable mention, and an All-Nationals team choice in 2009 and '10.

Enjoyed a breakthrough season both offensively and defensively as key starter at middle blocker for the Bobcats. At season's end, ranked 36th nationally in blocks (1.29 per set) and 170th in hitting (.306), and also led the MAC in blocks and stood fourth in hitting. Playing 109 of the team's 110 sets, she paced her squad in hitting and blocking, and ranked second on team in aces (0.22 p/s) and fourth in kills (1.68 per set). Was tabbed conference defensive player of the week after her play in the Baymont Invitational and all-tourney team honors (17K, .400, 15B) that included six blocks vs. the Ducks and the Wildcats (along with eight kills and a .700 mark vs. Western Carolina). Her 11 blocks vs. Dayton in four sets was the league high, and she also had the team's third-best block tally vs Miami (8, 4s) and Kent State (8, 3s), fifth-best total vs. Akron (7, 3s) and Northern Illinois (7, 5s), and ninth-best tally vs. Notre Dame (6, 5s). She also logged a team-season high three aces vs. Buffalo (3 sets) and Akron (4s). In the classroom, was an Academic All-MAC honorable mention.

Played in nine matches for Bobcats (23-10, MAC East 13-3 (1st)), and made her first collegiate start in a win over South Carolina State ... Saw her first collegiate action in a match at Kentucky, where she recorded her first kill and two block assists ... Had multi-kill games against S.C. State (3) and Northern Illinois (2) ... Also had her first dig against S.C. State, and finished with two block assists and 4.0 points ... Scored points in five of her nine appearances for the MAC Tourney semifinalists. Season Highs: Kills: 3, vs. S.C. State (9/16/11); Hitting: 1.000 vs. Miamia (10/30/11), Assists: 1 (4 times); Digs: 1, vs. S.C. State (9/16/11), Blocks: 2 (2 times), Block Assists: 2 (2 times), Points: 4.0, vs. S.C. State (9/16/11).

Prep: While with the Texas Tornados Homeschool Team, she was an All-Tournament Team selection twelve times in her career. She also helped lead her team to four top-10 finishes at both the state and national levels at the annual home-school tournaments, and was MVP of the 2010 Nationals tournament. Also played for the Texas Pride (2011) club team. 

Personal: Intended Journalism/Advertising major. Parents are Randy and Veronica and has one older sister, Marina. Her father played basketball for Pierce College and ran track for Umpqua Community College, and her mother played volleyball and competed in track for UCC.
