2014 — Was responsible for 87 of Oregon’s 123 kickoffs on the season while recording a team-high 22 touchbacks . . . The academic all-conference honorable mention recipient averaged 62.0-yards on kickoffs . . . The Ducks' fourth-leading scorer (60) connected on 29 of 31 PATs through a six-game stretch during the team's first seven outings, as well as four-of-six field goals . . . Returned the latter third of the year to successfully convert all 13 kicks (10 PATs and three field goals) against Colorado and Oregon State, extending his string of consecutive footballs through the uprights to 17 . . . Completed the year drilling home 77.8-percent of his field goals, including a season-long 34-yard effort in a 38-31 win at Washington State on Sept. 20 . . . Stepping onto the field in 13 of 15 contests, was a perfect five-of-five on field goals from 20-29 yards while finishing the season 39 of 41 (95.1%) on PATs . . . 2013 — Handled 100 of the Ducks’ 101 kickoff from the outset while splitting the team’s placement duties the first eight games . . . Assumed the team’s exclusive rights for all PAT and field goal attempts during his last five appearances, connecting on six of eight FGs as well as 14-15 extra points down the stretch . . . Completed his first season as Oregon’s third-leading scorer (63 points), succeeding on 42 of 44 points-after-touchdown and seven-of-nine three-point tries . . . Included was a season-long 38-yarder in the win over Tennessee while one of his misses came from 43 yards out against Oregon State . . . Converted seven of eight field goal attempts inside of 40 yards, including three-of-four tries in the Alamo Bowl win over Texas . . . Successfully booted 22 footballs into the end zone for touchbacks on 100 kickoffs, including three of four at Arizona.
BEFORE OREGON — The USA Today and Parade first-team All-American rated as the nation’s No. 2 prep kicker/punter by the Chris Sailer Kicking academy, as well as by Rivals.com . . . Also tabbed as North Carolina’s 28th-ranked prep prospect for head coach Blair Hardin while taking part in the Offense-Defense All-America Bowl in Houston . . . The versatile four-year starter doubled as a tight end and wide receiver for the 13-2 Pirates, who advanced to the 4A state championship game for the second year in a row . . . The dual-threat kicker was a three-time all-state honoree as both a punter and placekicker, averaging 43.6-yards-per-punt while connecting on 11 of 16 field goals his senior year . . . More impressive was an explosive leg that accounted for a long punt of 72 yards while placing 19 kicks inside the 20-yard line, and drove 85 of 95 kickoffs into the end zone . . . Also connected on five field goals of 51 yards or longer, including a Union County-record 58-yard three-pointer . . . Connected on 67 of 69 PATs in 2011 . . . The four-time all-Union County standout also recognized as a three-time Charlotte Observer all-region pick as well as well as three-time Southern Carolina Conference choice.
