2014-15: Cross Country – NCAA national runner-up to teammate Edward Cheserek...Made cross country debut for the Ducks as the team's fifth scorer at the Bill Dellinger Invitational...Was eighth overall in 24:40 (8,000 meters) at the Dellinger...was just a hair behind teammate Edward Cheserek at the Battle in Beantown, finishing as the runner-up in 24:20 (8,000 meters)...Was part of Oregon's 1-2-5-6 finish in Boston...Strong run at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, where he was third in 24:09.4, helping Cheserek win the individual title...Great effort at the Pac-12 meet where he finished as the runner-up to teammate Edward Cheseek in 23:34 (8,000 meters)...Took third at the NCAA West Regional in 29:39.6 (10,000 meters)...Terrific charge over the final few hundred meters to pass a dozen runners and finish as the national runner-up at the NCAA Championships...Covered the 10,000 meter course in 30:23.2 to earn All-America honors.
2013-14: Outdoors – Qualified for the Pac-12, NCAA Regional and NCAA Championships and earned All-America status in his first season at Oregon…finished in the top five for all five races…came in second in his first outdoor race as a Duck at the Oregon Relays in the 5,000 (13:46.80)…followed up with a first-place finish and with the sixth fastest time in NCAA history as a member of the 4xMile team at the Penn Relays (16:09.67)…clocked in at 13:45.27 at the Pac-12 Championships for third place (5,000 meters)…placed second in the 5,000 at NCAA Regionals with a mark of 14:11.57…his 5,000 time of 13:27.41 at the NCAA Championships was good for fourth place and was also the eighth fastest time in school history. Before Oregon: All-American at 5,000 meters and a four-time Colonial Athletic Association champion, including the 2013 800 and 1,500 meter titles, for Northeastern. Ran the second-fastest 5,000 meters in the NCAA in 2013, 13:18.57, before finishing 10th at that distance at the 2013 NCAA Championships at Historic Hayward Field. That personal best was the fastest 5,000 meters ever run by an American under the age of 21 and ranked No. 10 on the all-time collegiate list. Also holds impressive personal bests in the 3,000 meters (7:50.44) and mile (3:58.11). Holds Northeastern’s school record in the mile, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters. At the 2013 NCAA Indoor meet, initially finished second in the 3,000 meters (7:46 unofficially), but was disqualified in a controversial ruling. Broke the 4:00 barrier at the 2013 Terrier Classic (3:58.11). Was also the 2011 CAA cross country individual medalist and athlete of the year. Medical redshirt for the 2012 outdoor season after running in just one meet. Prep: Set six New Hampshire high school track & field records running for Portsmouth High School: 1,500 meters (4:04.56), 1,600 meters (4:15.10), 3,000 meters (8:53.10), 5,000 meters (15:16.20), mile (4:28.33) and two-miles (9:24.66). As a senior, won the cross country state championships with a time of 15:32 (5K) and set records at the Class I and state meets. Also won the 1,600 meter crown. As a junior, won the Meet of Champions and set a new course and meet record on the Mine Falls 5K course (15:16.2).
