2015 — Experienced his first significant time at quarterback in the win at Colorado, coming off the bench to complete four of nine passes for 83 yards and his first career touchdown pass (43 yards) . . . Also ran five times for 22 yards . . . Returned the following week to split time vs. Washington State, scoring his third TD of the year on an 8-yard run  . . . Highlighting his first action under center as a collegian was a 87-yard scoring run against Georgia State - the second-longest run by a quarterback in school history . . . Followed that up the next week with a 14-yard scoring scamper vs. Utah in addition to completing two of three passes for 13 yards . . . Completed the year connecting on six of 14 passes for 96 yards and one touchdown while running with the football 10 times for 142 yards and three scores . . . Was the holder for 42 consecutive successful placements into the first seven games before finishing the year holding for kickers who put points on the scoreboard on 89 of 91 attempts . . . Orchestrated a trio of unsuccessful two-point conversion attempts . . . The academic all-conference honorable mention selection spent the majority of the 2016 spring tutoring program's young quarterbacks while expanding his resume as a receiver.

2014 — Emerged into the role as the team’s holder on all placements in 15 games, resulting in the Ducks converting 18 of 21 field goal tries and 79 of 83 PATS . . . Also ran for a pair of two-point conversions (on three attempts) vs. South Dakota and UCLA and converted two others on throws against Michigan State and Florida State . . . Earned honorable mention academic all-conference acclaim following the season . . . Completed six of 11 passes for 146 yards and one score in the 2015 Spring Game in addition to catching one pass for 23 yards.

2013 — The walk-on served as one of Oregon’s scout team quarterbacks while redshirting as a true freshman . . . Impressed coaches during 2014 spring drills while completing three of eight passes for 18 yards and one touchdown (20 yards) in the Spring Game . . . Also carried the ball four times for 18 yards.

BEFORE OREGON — Made the 6A all-state first team as a Quarterback in 2012 . . . Led the Irish to the 2012 state championship for a 13-6 win against Lake Oswego, where Alie was named game MVP . . . Named player of the week by MaxPreps and the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association (OACA) after he helped lead Sheldon to a 62-27 victory over Southridge in the quarterfinals, throwing for five touchdowns on 24 completions in 30 attempts for 345 yards and rushing for 108 yards on 13 carries for one score . . . Completed 247 of 360 passes over 3183 total passing yards his senior year, leading the team to finish with a perfect 14-0 season . . . The three-year letterman accumulated 138 carries over 563 yards for 10 touchdowns overall . . . Also a pitcher in baseball, the three-year letterman saw another state championship win of 6-5 in 2013 against Clackamas . . . Also a two-year letterman in basketball, playing the position of point guard.
