2013-14: Outdoor – placed third at Oregon Preview competing unattached in the pole vault, cleared 16-0.75…won the OSU High Performance Meet, also competing unattached, with a height of 16-2.75 (4.95m)…Indoor – cleared 16-4.75 (5.00m) and finished sixth in the pole vault at the UW Preview…took 13th at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational with a height of 16-1.75 (4.92m)…repeated the same height the following meet at the Husky Classic and placed eighth…finished the indoor season by tying his PR with an 11th–place finish at the MPSF Invitational (16-4.75 / 5.00m)…Season Bests – Indoor – Pole Vault – 16-4.75/5.00m, UW Preview, Seattle, Wash., (1/18/14); Outdoor – Pole Vault – 16-2.75/4.95m, OSU High Performance, Corvallis, Ore., (5/2/14).

Prep: Walsh comes to Oregon as a two-time runner up in the Arizona state championships…Walsh won the pole vault at the Arizona Meet of Champions with a clearance at 16-5 for Brophy College Prep which is a school record…finished third at the 2013 USATF Junior Nationals…began 2012 with a clearance at 14-0 and then progressed to 14-9, 15-6, 16-1 and 16-3 before finishing the year at 16-5, a height that ranked 18th nationally…during the 2013 indoor season, Walsh again cleared 16-5 at Northern Arizona's meet, which ranked fifth nationally.
