2015 — The 12-game starter made the most of his first season of extensive action from the line of scrimmage, finishing the year third in tackles among the defensive secondary (53) and the team-leader in passes broken up (12) . . . Also concluded the year with forced fumbles against Washington State and USC . . . Made his first career start in the season opener against Eastern Washington, notching seven unassisted tackles and two pass breakups, before recording a career-high 13 tackles in addition to breaking up a pair of passes at Michigan State . . . . Was credited with one of his biggest plays of his young career in the win at Arizona State, intercepting his first pass as a collegian in the end zone against the Sun Devils to preserve Oregon's triple overtime win in Tempe.
2014 — Emerged as the lone standout amongst a talented collection of defensive backs from the 2014 recruiting class to step onto the field as a true freshman, taking part in 10 games from the line of scrimmage and/or on special teams . . . The reserve was credited with three tackles, including two unassisted stops against South Dakota in his most extensive playing time of the year . . . Notched four tackles in the 2015 Spring Game, including 0.5 tackles-for-loss.
BEFORE OREGON — Participating in the UnderArmour All-America Game, was included among the top 50 prospects and sixth cornerback on the ESPN 300 ledger . . . Posted 75 tackles (46 unassisted), three tackles-for-loss and one interception his senior year to earn second-team All-Area plaudits by the San Antonio Express-News . . . Also added a pair of fumble recoveries and forced one loose ball in addition to 16 catches for 296 yards and six touchdowns . . . Included were single-game bests of nine tackles (7 solo) vs. Johnson as well as five receptions for 110 yards and two scores against Bowie . . .
