Terrell Brandon
Position: Hall of Fame Inductee
Other Position: 2001 Inductee, Basketball (1989-91)

A former Oregon high school player of the year, Terrell Brandon made the most of two years with the Ducks. In his first year at Oregon, he led the team to the postseason National Invitational Tournament (NIT) in 1989-90. He went on to break several school records, including UO career- and single-season scoring average, assists in a single game (13), single-season steals (twice), and UO and Pac-10 records for single-game steals (eight). Brandon earned team MVP honors in 1990 and 91.

And honorable mention All-American, he became the first Oregon player to leave school early for the NBA, when the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him as the 11th overall pick. His professional career has taken him to three cities (Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis), and landed him on two NBA All-Star teams. However, some of Brandon’s most impressive stats may be seen off the court. He won the NBA’s 1997 Sportsman of the Year Award for his devotion to children, and his Portland-based foundation provides numerous services to underprivileged youth in his hometown.
