One of the first dominating basketball players in the early stages of the Pacific-10 Conference=s association with
women's athletics, Kasperski completed her career in 1990 with six Pac-10 all-time bests. Included among her legacy were
league records for career rebounds (996) and single-season field goal accuracy (60.0% in 1989). Her career 56.3 field goal
percentage complemented her collegiate scoring mark of 16.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.4 blocked shots per game average
as a four-year starter.

A three-time Pac-10 all-conference selection, she was an intimidating force inside. Standing at 6-foot-7, the German
native still owns all of the league=s single-game, season and career blocked shots records 10 years later. She led the nation inher specialty (4.3 avg.) as a sophomore in 1988 before leading her team to the women's NIT title in 1989.

Graduating with a near-perfect 3.98 GPA in biology, the two-time academic All-American was honored as GTE Academic
All-American of the Year as well as the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Scholar/Athlete in 1990.
