The Ducks (10-6, 2-4 Pac-10) make their second Pac-10 road trip of the season and go in search of their first conference win away from home in 2006-07. UO faces Pac-10 leader No. 9 Stanford (14-3, 7-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. followed by a tilt with No. 21 California (13-4, 4-3) on Saturday at 2 p.m.

QUICK QUACK
Oregon returns six players from last year’s squad, which went 14-15, 5-13 in the Pac-10. Of UO’s 10 active players, five are seniors, including F Eleanor Haring, a former Pac-10 All-Freshman team honoree.
CLIPPED WINGS
The Ducks head to northern California with a complete roster and do not have any significant injuries at this time. SR F/C Jessie Shetters has missed one game (back) this season and FR G Taylor Lilley six (broken left hand).
SERIES VS. STANFORD
Stanford has won 33 of 41 all-time meetings against Oregon, including a 19-1 mark at Maples Pavilion. The Cardinal has taken three straight in the series and 12 of the past 16, dating back to 1999. UO’s lone win at Maples came on March 5 ,1987 - 63-54.
SERIES VS. CAL
UO leads the all-time series with Cal 34-14, including 13-10 in Berkeley. The Ducks and Bears split last year’s two-game set with each team winning on its home floor. Oregon’s last Pac-10 road victory came at Cal on Feb. 26, 2005.
WHO KNEW?
When the Ducks lost their top two three-point shooters - Chelsea Wagner and Brandi Davis - to graduation at the end of last season, it wouldn’t have been unreasonable to assume Oregon’s perimeter game would suffer some in 2006-07. But through the team’s first 16 games, Oregon leads the Pac-10 with 99 three-pointers and a .390 percentage from behind the arc. The Ducks are on pace to eclipse last year’s total of 177 and could make a run at the school record of 194 set in 2001-02.
MAC BACKERS
Oregon’s crowd of 3,353 on Jan. 13 vs. Arizona State was a season-high and bumped the McArthur Court average up to 2,911, good for second place in the Pac-10 behind ASU (3,247). The Ducks rank 40th nationally in attendance.
FORMIDABLE FOES
Starting with last Saturday’s defeat against Arizona State, Oregon is in the midst of three consecutive games against ranked opponents. Not coincidently, those three teams - No. 10 ASU, No. 21 Cal and No. 9 Stanford - rank 1-2-3 in field goal percentage
DUCKS ADD AUSSIE, KENYON
G/F Victoria Kenyon, a 17-year-old Australian from Brisbane, Queensland, joined the Ducks prior to the start of winter term and will redshirt the remainder of the 2006-07 season. Kenyon, who comes to Eugene from the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), will participate in all practices and travel with the team.
GOODBYE GARBY
SR G Nicole Garbin has called it a career and will not continue to play basketball for the Ducks. Garbin, a sixth-year senior, played in three games this season following a standout soccer career at UO.
MAC COURT 300
Oregon’s win over BYU on Dec. 30 was the program’s 300th home victory at McArthur Court. The Ducks have an all-time Mac Court mark of 301-102 (.745).
NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
The Ducks have had plenty of success outside of the Pac-10 Conference in recent years and this one is no different. Over the past three seasons, UO is a combined 26-8 in non-league games. Oregon is 8-2 in non-conference games this year with its next such contest coming in March at the Pac-10 tournament.
PAPÉ PLAYER
SR F Eleanor Haring earned the MVP award at the ninth annual Papé Jam at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Dec. 9. Haring led all scorers with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting as she paced the Ducks to a 70-60 victory against Big 12 side Colorado.
ALL TOURNEY
SR F/C Carolyn Ganes was the Ducks’ representative on the Oregon Thanksgiving Tournament All-Tournament team after averaging 13.5 points and 4.0 rebounds as the Ducks went 1-1 to take third place. Pittsburgh won the tourney with wins over Utah and Boise State.
2007 RECRUITS
Oregon inked one of its most impressive recruiting classes in recent years, signing four prep players to National Letters of Intent during November’s early period.
6-5 post Nicole Canepa (San Francisco, Calif./St. Ignatius Prep), 5-7 guard Nia Jackson (Seattle, Wash./Chief Sealth), 6-2 post Ellie Manou (New South Wales, Australia/Australian Institute of Sport) and 5-11 wing Tatianna Thomas (Newhall, Calif./Hart) will be incoming freshmen in the fall of 2007.
UO’s class was ranked 31st nationally by recruiting outlet Blue Star Basketball.
