EUGENE, Ore. – ESPNU will televise the Dec. 8 Oregon-Ole Miss basketball game live at 2 p.m. Pacific time (4 p.m. Central) from C.M. Tad Smith Coliseum on the University of Mississippi campus.

It will be the first-ever meeting on the hardwood for the two 2013 NCAA Tournament teams.

The Ducks were 28-9 and advanced to the Sweet 16 a year ago under head coach Dana Altman, while the Rebels went 27-9 and advanced to the NCAA’s third round for head coach Andy Kennedy.

Both teams won their respective conference tournaments in 2013.

Oregon returns its starting backcourt – sophomores Dominic Artis and Damyean Dotson – from the 2012-13 team, plus key sixth man Johnathan Loyd, who started 16 games for the Ducks last season.

Ole Miss has leading scorer Marshall Henderson on its roster, as well as starting point guard Jarvis Summers back for the 2013-14 campaign.

The Rebels will return the game to Eugene’s Matthew Knight Arena in the 2014-15 season.
