EUGENE - The University of Oregon's student-athletes are helping to ensure that young Ducks do not miss out on the holiday fun because of Saturday's 5 p.m. football game with USC.

In an effort to bring the spirit of Halloween to younger Oregon fans, about 50 student-athletes from the athletic department's O Heroes program will be Trunk-or-Treating in the Autzen Stadium parking lots distributing goodies, courtesy of Bi-Mart, to all the kids in costume. All Oregon fans tailgating in the stadium's parking lots are also encouraged to have candy available between 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. prior to the Oregon Football game against the USC Trojans on October 31st, should they desire to participate in the festivities.

Due to the possibility of increased activity by children in the area, the athletic department reminds all fans to use extra caution in maneuvering through the parking lots.
