EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon men's tennis defeated Nevada 5-2 on Sunday morning inside the Student Tennis Center behind McArthur Court. The Ducks improved to 10-3 on the season while Nevada fell to 2-5.

Oregon lost the doubles point to UNR, two matches to one but rallied in a big way in singles play.

The Ducks, led by Ric Mortera, Nico Bjerke and Duncan MacDonald-Korth, won their first four singles matches on the day to seal the win.

Aaron Clissold won at No. 5 singles after UNR's Kristian Kuharszky was forced to retire with a cut over his left eye where the bleeding could not be stopped.

With the match in hand, Alexander Cornelissen won 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 at No. 1.

Oregon will be on the road next weekend for the first time in a month. The Ducks will play UT-San Antonio and UAB in San Antonio, Texas before playing Nebraska in Provo, Utah.
