WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Oregon lacrosse team fell 15-13 at No. 17 ranked William & Mary on Sunday morning at Albert-Daly Stadium. The Ducks slip to 2-2 on the season while the Tribe improve to 2-1.

Jana Drummond paced the Ducks with five goals on just five shots. She now has 10 goals this season.

Alex Breiner had a pair of goals to push her team best total in 2010 to 12 scores. She also added two assists.Erin Chisnell also had two goals. Chisnell scored with 1:39 left in the game to cut the William & Mary lead to just two, but the Ducks couldn't finish the rally.

Maggie Kovacs continued her scoring streak, netting one goal against the Tribe. The freshman has now scored at least one goal in her first four collegiate games.

Freshman Salliebeth Finnegan earned the start in goal for the Ducks and made 10 saves.

In team stats, the Tribe outshot the Ducks 29-27, collected eight more groundballs (29-21) and had two more saves (12-10). Oregon and Williams & Mary both had 25 shots on goal and 15 draw controls.
