The Oregon women's tennis team (5-9) will travel to the desert this weekend to play Arizona State 1:30 p.m. on Friday and battle Arizona at Noon on Saturday. It is the last time the Ducks will be on the road this season, as they close out the season with six straight home matches starting March 24.

The Ducks are coming off back-to-back 7-0 losses to No. 12 USC and No. 4 UCLA to start Pac-10 Conference play. In this week's poll, Arizona State is ranked No. 32 and Arizona is No. 59.

Thus far in 2010, Oregon has been led by freshman Julia Metzger at the No. 1 singles position and sophomore Trudie du Toit, who has climbed into the No. 2 singles position in the last five matches.

Arizona State is 6-2 this season and is coming off 5-2 wins at No. 16 Washington and No. 60 Washington State. The Sun Devils' two losses are to No. 29 Georgia Tech and a non-conference match to No. 6 California.

Arizona has a record of 8-4 but has dropped three straight to No. No. 16 Washington, No. 60 Washington State and No. 45 Utah.
