EUGENE, Ore. - The No. 67 ranked Oregon men's tennis team lost 7-0 to No. 12 UCLA on a sunny Saturday afternoon at the 18th Street Tennis Courts.

UCLA swept through the three doubles matches but the Ducks put up more fight in singles play. Ric Mortera and Jose' Izquierdo both battled their way into third set tiebreakers but the Bruins prevailed in both.

It was Oregon's last home match of the 2010 season so it was senior day for the Ducks as fourth-year players Alexander Cornelissen, Marcos Verdasco and Mortera were honored between doubles and singles play.

Oregon will hit the road for matches against Northern Arizona and Arizona next weekend before heading to UC Santa Barbara, California and Stanford next weekend. Oregon closes out the season at Washington on April 17.
