Ducks Finish 2010 with 7-0 Loss to #11 Stanford

The Cardinal dominated doubles and led 1-0 in the dual heading into singles play. Stanford quickly got ahead and won all six matches in straight sets. Oregon freshman Julia Metzger battled No. 61 Lindsay Burdette for almost two hours, losing 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
Oregon finishes the 2010 regular season 1-7 in Pac-10 and 7-15 overall. Stanford is undefeated in the Pac-10 (6-0) and counts only one loss the entire season at 17-1 overall, but has two more home matches next weekend.
Both teams will be back on the courts at the Pac-10 Championships at Ojai, Calif. on April 22-26.
